Description The AustriAlpin Eleven ID locking carabiner is ideal for numerous activities practiced in alpine environments, from climbing to caving, canyoning, ice climbing, etc. The Eleven ID features a brass opening sleeve and is characterized by a breaking load of 11 kN with the lever open, 25 kN along the major axis, and 8 kN along the minor axis. The particular asymmetric D shape ensures that most of the load is localized on the main axis, which is the most resistant. The wide sliding surfaces definitely reduce wear and the bending angle of the rope.
